Covid Prevention

As the rules have changed during the pandemic, we have adjusted our practices, but we have always gone a little further than the letter of the law in order to keep our customers as safe as possible. At the moment, we still have a screen between our till and the customer counter and we are happy to put a mask on whenever that is prefered. The shop is well ventilated. We will not come to work if testing positive for Covid 19 no matter what the current guidance allows!

These are the practices we had in place in 2020 and 2021:

• Contact disinfection - incuded disinfection of every basket after every use; fridge and freezer handles; card machine; customer’s packing table.

• Card Payments - we asked all customers to pay by contactless/card whenever possible.

• Restricted Numbers - we had a limit of just 2 customers in the shop at any time.

• Hand Sanitiser - provided at the entrance.

• Distance and Face Masks - we did our best to help customers maintain a safe distance from each other and from us. We wore masks on the shop floor until June 2022.

• Ventilation - Accept at the coldest time of year, we kept the door to the shop open, and we diffused antimicrobial essential oils in the lower half of the shop (furthest away from the door).
